Follow-Up Questions

UserLoop lets you ask follow-up questions to get more detail from customers based on their initial response. You can add a follow-up to any single select or multiple choice question. The follow-up question itself can be open-ended, single select, or multiple select.

Follow-up questions are shown after the customer submits their response to the first question. Data is captured at every step, so you'll always get the first answer even if the customer doesn't complete the follow-up.

How to Add a Follow-Up Question

1. Go to Surveys and select the survey you want to edit.

2. Click the Questions tab.

3. On any single select or multiple choice question, look for the option to add a follow-up question underneath each answer option.

4. Choose the type of follow-up question (open-ended, single select, or multiple select) and add your options.
